Overview
Preparation for real-world experience and industry certifications in medical administrative assisting, health unit coordinating, and billing/coding. Certifications prepared for include: The Certified Medical Administrative Assistant and Certified Billing and Coding Specialist from the National Heathcareer Association and the Health Unit Coordinator from the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators.
Preparation for real-world experience and industry certifications in basic office skills, computer skills, Microsoft Office applications, and administrative assistant skills. Certifications prepared for include: Microsoft Office Specialist and the Administrative Expert designation from the National Society of Administrative Professionals.
A student taking all portions (Admin Certification Training Membership) would complete their classroom requirements in 4 months.
Preparation for and taking of independent certification exams would be in accordance with individual student preparation and timeframes.
